It’s been a long time coming, but 2024 saw me take a long-awaited leap into the audiosphere and I am now the writer, editor and producer of two podcasts! The first of these is a collaboration with Nick Homer, (my bro), where we talk about the popular football game Fantasy Premier League. FPL Pod VS Tok is a weekly show where Nick and I react to our recent performances in the game as well as relay our proposed tactics, transfers and captaincy decisions. The show also features clips of our real-life match day experiences which have seen us travel everywhere from AFC Croydon’s the Mayfield Stadium to Wembley! FPL Pod VS Tok also provides an opportunity for us both to forget our day-to-day troubles and have a good ol’ chat about football!

The second podcast is in production and titled Homer’s Podyssey, (see what I did there!). This one will feature me interviewing guests from the worlds of music, theatre, film, visual art and more! Let’s be honest, the title of this podcast is a pun on my name and references the most famous work of my Ancient Greek namesake. However, in keeping with the themes outlined in Homer’s epic poem, (The Odyssey), I too will be traveling around and shaping my knowledge and experience along the way. However, I do hope that my own journeys will not see me take ten years to get back home! Amongst other things, I will be talking to my guests about the metaphorical monsters that have obstructed their paths and how they overcame them. Another constant theme in The Odyssey is the desire to get home and I would like to explore that too in my conversations. What is it for my guests that makes a space feel like home?
